German Study Prize 2025: Deadline Approaching
At the end of October, we already shared information about the German Study Prize 2025 with you. The deadline is fast approaching, with the submission deadline on March 1, 2025.
The call for applications is aimed at early-career researchers from all disciplines who have submitted an excellent dissertation of particular societal relevance in 2024. With three top prizes of 25,000 euros each, the German Study Prize is one of the highest-funded awards for early-career researchers in Germany. Our alumni also have access to a wide range of support opportunities—from mentoring for a career in science, to a conference fund, to participation in the Max Planck Program for startup founders.
We encourage young researchers to confidently advocate for the societal value of their research and contribute to public discourse. The German Study Prize recognizes PhDs whose research findings are of exceptional interest to society. The patron of the prize is Bärbel Bas, President of the German Bundestag.
