NFDI4Society: Meet-the-Data
The event series is organized by the Consortium for Social, Behavioral, Educational, and Economic Sciences (KonsortSWD - NFDI4Society) in the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) and the Research Data Education Network (VerbundFDB). Once a month, employees of research data centers and researchers present selected data sets and answer questions about data access and data use. The event series is aimed at students and early-career researchers who want to conduct research using existing data, as well as teachers.
The next season will focus on data from educational research. It starts on January 15!
When? Starting January 15, 2026, every third Thursday of the month, 1:15-2:00 p.m.
Where? Online (via Zoom)
Who is it for? Students and researchers in the early stages of their careers, teachers, anyone interested in research data

Welcome Sessions for International Staff
As warmer days arrive, the Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) relaunches its popular English-language Welcome Sessions for new international employees – perfect for navigating Germany. These free live webinars (2–3 PM) cover essentials like the social security system and first steps in daily life.
