Dear colleagues,

welcome to the May newsletter with the latest information.

Between June 18 and 25, 2024 the next elections for the following councils will take place at OVGU: senate, faculty councils, equal oppurtunity commissioner and several more. If you would like to represent the interests of academic staff at your faculty or in the university's senate, you now have the opportunity to do so. You can find all information about the election here. 

In May, June and July, the Graduate Academy is still offering some very interesting training courses in the fields of teaching skills, leadership skills and career development.  Please find a brief overview in the tab Qualification.

On May 16, the OVGU welcomes all new employes in the Senate hall, who joined the OVGU in the last 6 months. The program is available here.

On June 3, the Graduate Academy invites all doctoral candidates in the final phase, Postdocs and supervisors to the information event/ discussion round on "Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) Postdoc Fellowship". You can participate  in person in the Conference room of Speicher B (building 82), Otto-Hahn-Straße 2 or online via ZOOM. Please find all details on the GA website or in the OVGU event calender. The event  was originally announced for next week in the last newsletter. Due to the rector election, the date has been postponed.
